Brief Profile
Dr. Mustapha is a seasoned academician, researcher, and strategist. He specializes in macroeconomics, financial economics, financial programming, financial and economic modelling, micro- and macro-econometrics, supply chain management, and business analytics. He supervises undergraduates and graduate students in the colleges of management and social sciences.
He has served as lead researcher, principal, and co-investigator on several projects sponsored by universities, the African Capacity Building Foundation, and the World Bank. He has consulted for national agencies in Nigeria, ACBF, and AERC.
He is a senior member and member of many bodies, such as the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the General Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), the International Economics Development Research Centre (IEDRC), the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), and the World Research Council (WRC), among others, and has served as a faculty member of the GTI Investment Company and the Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC).
Dr. Mustapha is an academic editor, reviewer, and honorary advisor to the Journal of Economics, Management, and Trade; the African Journal of Economic and Management Studies; the African Development Review; and the FITC Journal of Banking and Finance.
